Breakfast at Fortnum’s at the Royal Exchange

I love a good breakfast… and breakfast at Fortnum’s at the Royal Exchange is bloody good.  I’ve had a long love affair with F&M… When I first moved to the UK I had a Sunday ritual to buy little bits for my cupboards like jams, biscuits, and chutneys.   The thought process behind that was if it’s fit for the queen, it’s good enough for me.⁣⠀

Eating breakfast at Fortnum’s at the Royal Exchange has that same feeling as shopping for my pantry at the Piccadilly store. Everything is perfectly executed, a tad luxurious but never overly fussy.  The Breakfast Menu at Fortnum’s at the Royal Exchange is full of beautiful omelettes and scrambled eggs from glorious Clarence Court eggs, Welsh rarebits, proper full English with meaty sausages, racks of toasts with F&M jams and preserves.

As you would imagine… the tea and coffee offering is second to none.  There is so much choice from the selection of their vast tea and coffee collection that are available for breakfast at Fortnum’s at the Royal Exchange. ⁣⠀

⁣⠀
If you did not get that Piccadilly feeling from dining in the atrium, there is bijoux Fortnums Food Hall where you can shop from a beautifully curated selection of F&M essentials.  Loads of teas, jams, biscuits, chutneys and preserves.  They even have clever little lunch boxes for city works with their signature scotch eggs, meat pies and smoked salmon for the grab and go lunch.

I never thought I’d have a somewhat local Fortnums, but now I do.⁣⠀

[Please note that I was a guest of Fortnums for this review]
